Our commitment is to a life-long journey of growing in faith and commitment. We have a strong Faith Formation Ministry for children, youth and adults, which includes intergenerational activities. There are spiritual growth opportunities for all ages on most Sundays during the program year.
A nursery is provided for infants during the Sunday service, and older children leave mid-way through worship to participate in Children's Faith Formation.

Faith Formation... Through Worship and Education
Faith Formation for Children
The children of First Church begin worship in the Sanctuary and are dismissed for their own developmentally appropriate experience of engaging in Scripture and the Christian Tradition through art, music, movement, and prayer.
Youth Group
The Pilgrim Fellowship group gathers each month for fellowship, service projects, and worship. Watch for dates and times
Prayer Group
Gathering for silent and spoken prayer each Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.

Exploration of Art and Spirit
Focuses on the intersection of Worship and the Arts.
Grace Notes Chime Choir
If you can count to 4 and hold a chime, you've got what it takes to be in our chime choir! Grace Notes practices Thursday evenings at 6:45 p.m. and plays once every other month in worship.
Vocal Choir
The FCC Choir has a mix of members from the range of professional singers to "in the shower when nobody is home" singers. Join for a few weeks, a few months, a few seasons, or even just a few holidays. The choir rehearses Thursdays at 7:30 p.m. and leads the congregation in worship on Sunday mornings.
Book Group
An opportunity to gather with a group of faithful readers for a time of conversation and question-raising. Meets Wednesdays at 1 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.

Just Peace Series
The Just Peace Steering Committee will occasionally present films and lead discussions during First Hour.
